The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
• Account holders bank details and financial information.
• Employee Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics.

• Warranties and/or guarantees are applied for.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• Customer has applied for a credit account
• Customer has visited our website and added items to a basket
• Customer has made a purchase from us and provided contact details.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

• Suppliers may pass on leads containing customer contact details which will have been agreed for prior to the information being passed on.

We use the information that you have given us in order to Contact you & inform you of marketing and products.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. 

We keep Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics for as long as the person remains a customer, employee or supplier for a period of 10 years after. We will then dispose of your information by either purging data on our computer system or securely shredding personal information.

Where a customer applies for a Warranty and/or guarantee on a product their data will be stored securely for the length of the warranty which can be up to 100 years.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
